Know what is being decided before it is decided. Upcoming public meetings as far
ahead as this government posts them — so the community can show up, testify, and participate in time.
Source: Granicus (County of Kauaʻi legislative portal, kauai.granicus.com) ↗source verified Horizon: rolling; agendas posted ~7 days before each meeting (the June 17 council agenda was authored June 10). Typically the next 1-2 council/committee meetings are visible at a time. · showing: verified snapshot
Machine-readable feed: rss — refreshed automatically each day. Note: Official agenda system is Granicus at kauai.granicus.com (view_id=2), linked from the county site at kauai.gov/Government/Council. VERIFIED 2026-06-15: fetched the RSS feed (valid RSS 2.0, mode=agendas) and confirmed it lists County Council, County Council Committee, and Planning Commission meetings. The June 17, 2026 County Council entry appears with link event_id=1593. Followed that AgendaViewer URL (302-redirects to a Granicus S3 agenda PDF) and confirmed the actual agenda contents: meeting body = Kauaʻi County Council, agenda authored June 10 2026, containing Resolution No. 2026-16 (Aliomanu Bay, Anahola pedestrian beach access easement), Resolution No. 2026-18 (HHCA lawsuit opposition), and communications C 2026-140 (County Treasury quarterly reports) through C 2026-152 (EV charging, federal grants, fire/EMS funding). The RSS feed (mode=agendas) is the machine-readable source for a daily checker; a videos/podcast RSS also exists at mode=podcast. NOTE: kauai.gov itself returns HTTP 403 to automated fetchers and the Granicus ViewPublisher HTML page (source_url) exceeds the fetch size limit (~10MB) — both are genuine but use the RSS feed for programmatic polling. As of today (2026-06-15) the June 3 council, May 27 committee, and June 9 Planning Commission meetings in the feed are already past; June 17 is the only confirmed genuinely-upcoming meeting. Future events use event_id (e.g. event_id=1593) in the agenda URL while past meetings use clip_id.
