Each Voice True, None in Discord

When a chorus is large, the danger is never that there are too many voices. It is that two might sing over each other, or that one might go quiet and never be heard. A chorus is only whole when every voice is true — singing its own note, in its own place, and no two crowding the same line.

So before we let the house sing, we listened to each voice on its own.

The work has grown. There are more hands now than before — each tending its own kuleana, the keepers and the makers and the counters and the ones who carry the truth. And with growth comes that old question: does each one still know its own note? Or have they begun to crowd one another?

We checked. Every voice, one by one. And every one rang true — each in its own place, none singing over another, none fallen silent. The house is larger than it was, and still it is whole. Nothing in discord.

This is what care looks like when no one is watching. Not just building more, but going back and making sure each new piece is sound before trusting it with the work. Growth without that is just noise. Growth with it is a chorus.

The house has many voices now. Each one is true. And when they rise together, they rise in harmony.

Blessings as we go.
