Election spending is capped at approximately S$3 per registered voter in the constituency. Donations to political parties are limited and must be disclosed. ELD publishes election results and candidate returns after each election.

Singapore's 2025 General Election (scheduled 2025) campaign spending returns must be filed by candidates within 31 days of the election. The statutory maximum spending per candidate is approximately S$3 per voter in the constituency. The ELD publishes returns at eld.gov.sg after each election. The ruling PAP has held power continuously since 1959.
Political Donations Act (Cap. 236)ban on foreign donations
The Political Donations Act prohibits foreign donations to political parties and candidates. Domestic donations above S$10,000 to political parties require declaration to the Registrar of Political Donations. This register is not fully public but is reviewed by the Elections Department. The Act creates a limited transparency regime.
