Zürich — Party Finance & Campaign Disclosures
Political finance for the City of Zürich and Canton of Zürich — regulated by Switzerland's Federal Chancery (Bundeskanzlei) and cantonal rules. Switzerland enacted its first binding federal party finance transparency law effective 2022 (Bundesgesetz über die politischen Rechte, Art. 76a-76t), requiring disclosure of donations above CHF 15,000.

Under the new law effective 2022, Swiss political parties, campaign committees, and initiative/referendum campaigns must disclose: total revenue, total expenditure, and all individual donations above CHF 15,000. Reports are submitted to the Federal Audit Office (Eidgenössische Finanzkontrolle, EFK) and published on parlfinance.ch. This covers national-level Zürich politicians (National Council, Council of States).
